Bryan Luxford of The Glassery is the fourth generation of a family of stained glass artists whose business was first established in 1846. Some years ago the firm, then known as Luxford Studios, was run by three brothers in London, the bulk of whose work was of an ecclesiastical nature, including much restoration to war-damaged church windows.

When the three brothers retired, the company now known as The Glassery was taken over by the next generation, two cousins, Peter and Bryan Luxford. They worked together for very many years until recently when they both moved away from London and set up independent studios.

Bryan now concentrates on bespoke commissions of leaded panels using traditional techniques of kiln fired paints and silver stains where appropriate. He is happy to give free advice and estimates.
